Check out this beauty.:

1984 ford f150

Going to see if I can pick that up after payday. Not sure if I can get it ready in time for Pismo, but it should be interesting. Assuming the guy doesn't sell it before I get my grubby little hands on it. LOL.

Was able to have a moderator (Glruff) fix the wrong year on the thread. Thanks George.

Hey Scott, I will be up in your neck of the woods on Wednesday, as I will be driving up to Modesto to check out the F-150. Do you have a trailer that can haul that?

Jim, were you unable to edit your post to change the year?

I wonder if they changed the time the edit window stays open. Hmmmmmm.....

happy Taco Tuesday Nor Cal FTE, hope everyone stays dry. Of course with only a 10% chance of rain predicted by the weather guessers, it will probably be easy.

Stewart, I was unable to edit it myself, that is why I contacted George.

Scott, that is cool, I am still interested, but I doubt he still has it, it has been so long. And the one I am looking at tomorrow is only $750, or less. May need your help in getting it home, or possibly your place for a short stay as I cannot pay for it, and fix it out of the same pay check.

mrcman58 yes indeed, the price, and the paint job are what attracted me to it. Looking closely at the picture of the front end, I think I see a differential there, so it may be a 4x4, that would be icing on the cake. But then I would wonder why it is so cheap. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

when we lived there we lived at two different locations the first house i remember was on fishback road, i took a ride down that road about a year ago i think its where those giant eucalyptus tree stumps are on the right side at the intersection which use to be the end of the road at that time. back then there was a barn and a 2 story house there. the second house was at the corner of austin road and Louise ave. also a 2 story house. my dad was in the trucking business back then. a good friend of mine Dan Lowry lives in manteca. Yeah, I know the edit window used to be 30 days, but when I saw you post you had to ask George, it got me wondering if the window was still 30 days.

I guess FTE changed it if the Edit button was gone.

Yes Jim I have a car trailer that will haul it, taking my wife for hand surgery though have to be in Modesto at 12 ,if needed you can store it here until time to get it down to Fresno , speaking of witch I was in your neck of the woods today on biz, it was a quick trip with multiple stops , may have landed multiple projects and we all know what that means multiple Benjamin's , well hopefully multiple stacks ,
Mrcman , I know of the area that your speaking of SSJID bought the land off Louise and Austin they were support to build there complex there and move Away from PGE area , not sure who still farms oat out of there I think last year it was Corn.
Jim any word on the next GTG?

I will be going up to Modesto tomorrow, owner says he will be free from 3pm on. If I do decide to buy it, I will most likely need it towed on Saturday, unless you already have plans. If so, we can work something out. However, the owner has not responded to my email asking for his address, and it has been two days. So, I am thinking maybe it is already sold. I guess I will find out tomorrow.

If I do buy it, I would appreciate being able to keep it at your place. If we tow it here, it would sit in the carport for a month, and the apt manager might not like that very much. I am guessing because the gas can is so small, he says it has to be towed. No way I could drive it from Modesto to here on one gallon of gas. Especially with registration from 2005.

Forgot to respond to your possible Fresno jobs. That would be cool if you can get them. Extra Benjamin's is always a good thing, the more the merrier.
