I know this question isn't specific to the 6.oh, but since we all seem to be our little band-o-brothers here, I feel more comfortable asking on this sub-forum.
What canopy's out there fit my truck? I am coming up with a lot of companies that don't offer anything for my bed size, I am really surprised.
I am looking for a canopy that will be the same height as the roof of the truck.
I have a Leer on mine. There are a lot of good ones ou there though. I have only had it off once or twice since I bought it in 06 and I find that I actually miss it when its not there. Keeping tools and other stuff dry and secure is nice. I think theres a pic or two in my photo album.
I've got your truck ('04), same color, long bed with an ARE. We live in the Gorge south of you and got it on Portland. Not sure if naming dealers is ok on the forum. But if you google ARE canopy portland...its the dealer on 82nd. Took a couple weeks, matched the color. Super happy with service and install, shopped around and they had the best price (no ST).
Looks like the same one I have now. I have been a big fan of soft roll up or fold tonneau for a while now. I have had about 4 different ones and They have done a real good job of keeping things dry. While not completely theft proof it does keep things hidden and locking the tailgate does make it harder to take things. The plus is if you ever need the bed to haul things it can be converted in seconds, even if away from home.
