Only one turn signal

Can one side of a flasher go bad? My left turn signal stopped working. No "tick" at the flasher, no dash indicator light, and no exterior flashing. The right works just fine, "tick", flash and all. I checked th bulb, still good. I also verified both brake lights work. My other assumption is the turn signal switch has gone bad. Any thoughts?

Guess anything is possible, but probably more likely a bad ground or corroded connection somewhere.

Replace the TS switch. Flasher works both left and right lights so it cannot be the problem.

I just went through this on my 62. Removed the housings from the bed, reinstalled them without doing anything else, and ta da! All lights work again. Even just loosening and tightening the screws might clear off enough corrosion to ground them. At least this is a free test before going after the TS switch.

Adam, I would agree that dirt or corrosion is the likely culprit. I would start at the tail light, cleaning, scraping, reattaching. You can also use a circuit tester to see if you have a pulsing signal at the connection just off the end of the drivers side frame rail.
