Hi guys,
I have this strange problem, my '99 F250 starts awesome when it's cold, fires right up. But after it's been warmed up and I crank it over, it either pops, hesitates and starts, or it pops and doesn't start. I have found out what causes each starting "result". If it's warm and I turn the key and try and start it, it usually just pops and dies. If I turn the key to the "on" position and let it beep for a few seconds and then try to start it, it does the hesitating. Either way, I know something is wrong. I just pulled a 6000 lb skid loader today and it didn't seem to have that power monster feel to it that the V10 should have. Some of you may have seen my other thread about bad gas mileage, yes, it gets terrible mileage. I did the math and I am getting about 10 MPG, that's pretty much all country driving, with some driving in town. I'm not real hard on it, I keep it under 2500 when accelerating. Ok once in a while I gotta give 'er but that's only once in a while
