New stereo unit

I'm thinking of replacing the stereo unit in my 88 King Ranch. It has stereo controls in the steering wheel that are quite convienient. If I do purchase a new unit, will I loose these steering wheel controls?

You will unless you get the extra wiring harness to keep them. Crutchfield can set you up with the radios that will work with your setup.
