Ok,,, going to put fuel tank in my 78 Bronco,,, this is on frame right in front of fuel tank,,, what is it,,,

Where do the lines go? If it is part of evap, you will need it to pass smog.

Do not know where lines go,,, had a loopback on it,,, nothing can go to it,,, other than fuel line in and out?

I see a small line, a rubber hose making a u-turn and a larger line with a flare of the type I associate with connecting a rubber line to a hard line....

The small line goes nowhere?

small line is electric, is it a pump of some sort?

Never seen one before,,, appears line would come from tank into it, out of it to fuel pump/carb

Electric fuel pump someone installed. Not hooked up now. Not factory. No you do not need it. have a good day. Bruce

Thank you sir,,, was trying to find any numbers or anything,,, that is kinda what i was thinking, just by looking at it, but had not seen one like that before. Made the maiden voyage around the neighborhood,,, 4 miles just to see! All is well!!
