oil filter housing

Why is my oil filter housing squirting oil out the top

I assume you have a 360 or 390 if so I assume it's leaking from the oil pressure sender or the gasket don't start the motor until it's fixed because you don't have any oil pressure

390 and it coming out of what looks like a hollow bolt with a nut on it

That's where the oil pressure sender bolts in its a 1/4 npt get a plug or a sender unit

I wonder if it has a socket hex plug (one that takes an allen wrench) in it instead of the sending unit. One of those could look like a hollow bolt.

Or, the tube pulled off (or broke) for a manual oil pressure gauge.
