These were taken at a FTE meet last year and you can see how many people brought or had them for reference. I have one from recommendations here and worked great.
Maybe @Tugly can rant about his bore scope camera.
For those looking for something lightweight (easy to throw in the back), tall (for trucks with lifts), and stable (after all - you're leaning over a hood):
Rubbermaid 3-Step UltraLight Aluminum Step Stool
I've tried the other stuff, but this one is my favorite outside the shop.
Bently_Coop - my inspection camera is no match for Ken's under-hood work light.
I Don't have a cool picture to show off, But you should try a Little giant Ladder set up with a Piece of plywood and pad....It fits right over the Engine compartment and I replaced my uppies right quick. Okay, maybe not Right quick, but it was a hell of a lot faster than laying on top of the engine. My Opinion.
7 Buck$Zooka rounds for an overhead creeper that doesn't fold? That's akin to a treadmill in the livingroom - an expensive space-hog coat rack most of the time. I looked at the folder that was "available summer of 2015" - it isn't. Are there any folding Over-The-Engine creepers made in USA?

We bought one of those ladders to keep in our camper to climb up on the top bunk with. Triple bunks..
Can't beat them Werner work platforms. I have 2 and picked up 2 more on this deal.
The first time I saw these was at a GTG a few years ago. I thought cool, but I am a contractor and have all kinds of ladders and scaffolding. Now I can't live without them at work or at home.
I went to the local lowes this afternoon and apparently we can't get them here in WV. Associate said they are not in stock and I couldn't even buy no and pick up later. That's a real bummer because I was going to buy one a couple months ago and passed. Then I see this deal and can't get one. Guess I'll keep standing on a cooler for awhile.

And you won't find them at Lowe's for the rest of the year.
Not the drop dead, black friday price, but local Sherwin Williams should have them around $40.
