Boxed frame, aluminum body, new cab, active steering option, cameras, increased HP/TQ, increased payload and towing, new rear axle, new suspension, better headlights, bigger back seat in crew cab, much needed updated interior, etc. And these are just what we know so far... Yeah, not much going on with this redesign... LOL. Have you been in an F150? I was recently and it makes my 2012 feel completely outdated. I'm not sure why there is such a debate. If you don't like the redesign, buy a 16. If you do, buy a 17. They had a monster long run building 16's so it's the best of both worlds for buyers. Something for both camps. For now anyways....

For comparison the current F150 interior feels more like a SUV than a truck.
I agree with part one of this statement, but since when do we know pricing info on the new truck? A $7k increase? I suspect people would be switching to RAM or GM if that was the case.

Just as an FYI, for us believers, that last part is a bit offensive. But I do agree.

Where did you come up with a $7000 increase over a 2016?

Thanks for posting; informative video. I looked at a Dodge when I was peeved at Ford over my 6.4 and one of the dings (no pun intended) Dodge had was against Ford door and tailgate panels; they seemed a lot less stronger compared to the D's. I looked at my tailgate wrong the other day and it got dented and I already know what they cost to fix given another issue I had with my '12.

So, repair tailgate or new truck? Given the upgrades and given that I'm past due in trading my truck (I trade at 100K miles), the wait could be long....

Here's the timetable for the 2017 Super Duty...

04/13/2016 - 2017MY Order Bank Open Date
05/26/2016 - 2017MY Scheduling Begins (KTP)
06/23/2016 - 2017MY Scheduling Begins (OHAP)
07/11/2016 - 2017MY Job #1 Date (KTP)
08/15/2016 - 2017MY Job #1 Date (OHAP)

The order guides are usually released to dealers via the FMCDealer.com portal on or about the order bank open date. I'll upload the 2017MY Super Duty Order Guide as soon as it is available.

Any day now... I can find out just how much my truck trim went up in price.

Does the DRW 350 still have the high capacity tow pkg. with the wide track front end and new 4.10 gear option?

A good friend of mine (one of the guys in the all the 2017 videos) just ordered his 2017 Platinum last Tuesday. Fully loaded, the sticker was exactly $77,000. He expects delivery in late August. He says he is going to be able to drive it off the assembly line himself! How cool would that be?

That would be extremely cool! I'm guessing if you're in the videos, though, your order priority probably gets bumped up!

Greater fuel capacity in the diesel short bed trucks?
DEF guage within the dash?
Power tailgate lock?
LED lighting within the bed?
LED or HID headlight options?
Radiator problems resolved by stiffer frame?
