Probably just as well. If they screw up and send you the wrong part, they will give you grief about it and charge you shipping to send it back.
As long as everything goes perfectly, they are great. When things go wrong, not so much.
I have had great luck with Rock Auto...a couple mos ago I got a radiator for my '91 BMW from them for $119 and the dealer price was $450. And I selected mine from 6 different brands to get the best one (per Internet research). Likewise I got an ABS sensor for an Acura from them some years ago for a fraction of the dealer price.

Well when you're dealing with Ying-Yangs like this let your wallet fight your battles---in this case simply have your bank reverse the payment made to them. Soon enough they'll be in contact to resolve your problems more in-line with what's right and fair over all. Of course if this becomes your own doing well that's on you, have to deal with that ethically and fairly to the vendor.
Typically every on-line transaction that's paid electronically is accompanied by an email pretty much asking the buyer to double check their purchases for accuracy. Ignoring that can cause its own problems so its best to pay close attention during ordering and the parts list once the order is released for shipping.
Thanks for the info guys. If I cant find one I was planning on cutting the old bumper off leaving the step with the trailer hitch. It is in good condition and bolted to the frame. I'll get 1/4" x 6" or 8" x 6' plate for the top and same for the front face. weld and bolt 90 degree brackets on it then bolt it to the existing mounting brackets coming off the frame.
although not exactly like the bumper you have but hope this helps. not sure where you live either but this one popped up when I was looking for one for my 99.

I checked out LMC. They have body panels for my van, never thought I'd see that!
Also, I looked on car parts and found 2 rear bumpers for a 1986 E150. One is from Austin's used Truck & Auto parts. I emailed them twice showing the pic of my bumper but never got a reply. The other is Susanville Truck and Auto Recycling. Anyone do business with either? On cart-parts, what does part grade A O mean?
I checked out the Ford chrome step bumper too, It's really nice for $60. I don't know yet what the shipping is. It has a hole for the trailer hitch but no holes for the chains.
I want to mount a winch on the bumper. Any ideas how I should do that?
Sorry about that but I already got the Pennsylvania area step bumper from a junkyard.
Obviously a junkyard near Pittsburgh.
I found it using one of the global junkyard search engines. I live in WV and the junkyard was about an hour away in PA. Just keep doing a web search every week or so. I see a ton of Ford vans on the road. One will turn up eventually.
Putting your license plate on the internet is trouble? I am so screwed. Mine even has it's own web page.

As it turns out, no- according to our discussion above (and a few PM's) license plate info is not very helpful at all for ID theft.
My personal info was found using my screen name, city, and then screenname/city leading to my phone number. License plate searches only lead to "paid" search web sites- which are shown to have outdated, if any, information.
