Question Bad fuel pump?

I’ve been driving around and when I accelerate my cars seems to die and then go back up again, this is while driving about 20-30 mph the carb is replaced and I don’t think its the prob today I was driving around and it was so bad I didn’t think I was going to make it home from my drive (looking for my stolen van) when I got to my drive way it died when I tried to accelerate. It seems to idle fine while in park but just when I give it gas it goes bad would it be a fuel pump problem? Or should I send this carb back under warranty?

Fuel filter is changed I use 91 octane gas what could be the prob?

Any ideas would be great

It's a 302 with a 2 b

I will be upgrading intake and carb in the next few months but i need it to last tell then

Thanks

Bad fuel pump?

The only way to really know is to get a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel line to see what it's doing. In my experience, a fuel pump either works or it doesn't.
