Howdy all,
I just picked up an '87 Clubwagon w/a 302 in it. The gizmo that looks like a bulb just up from the 3/4ish tube running from the exhaust is busted. The engine as a whole is running weak. I've yet to check compression (lack of tools), but the plugs and wires need changed.
Any ideas on where to go after this? I can bum the comp tester in a bit, but being the first V8 I've had a chance to fool with, I'm close to stuck.
Any theories will be welcomed!

I'll check how the O2 sensor looks tonight. I am wondering about it's condition due to the air tube running to the exhaust pipe being broke.
I can check the timing, hopefully, on Friday. It was my expirience on my '90 F-150 that w/the timing, the computer controls it. It's worth a look though.
Thanks again for the ideas. I'll keep you posted as best I can.

My O2 sensor looks to have 3 wires. 2 white, one black. All seem to be intact. I would like to clean the contact though. I've still to check timing.
