Hi Guys,
I was measuring my frame with Axracer today and the wheelbase measurement was 112 vs the stock 114. Also, I have rust pretty bad behind the spring hangers. The closer we looked the more we questioned what year the frame was and if it was usable. it even looked like a few inches was cut of back as well.....
We both agreed the safest bet was to find a replacement. I live in Raleigh NC and am now looking for a straight, stock frame for my 52 F1 project. I don't need a title with the frame. I was hoping to find one close enough to pick up myself.
Gary only needs a bare frame, his suspension and axles are all new. A bare frame would be much easier for him to pick up as it would fit into his (late model) pickup. Hoping for something in NC or surrounding state, meanwhile thanks for the offer Doug. His truck has already been given a NC replacement title/VIN and they put the new stickers on the cab, so (for once) he doesn't need a frame with a title.

I understand. If you get hard up though, I would gladly strip down the chassis to the bare frame and send only the frame.
Hey Gary I have a 1950 F1 frame only thing is the front crossmember is missing I can try to get some pictures of it this coming weekend if you'd like... I'm located in King william county va I'm about 15 minutes off of interstate 95
Let me know if you don't find something. I have a 51 parts truck that has a good frame. I like it sitting on 4 wheels as it's easy to move around but I could be talked into letting the frame go. Of course you could just buy the complete truck . I do not have a title and there are no legible serial numbers on the truck hence the parts truck status.

Hi Mike,
Thanks! And I just seen you are in NC! I pm'ed you for prices and location. The only paperwork I need on the truck is a bill of sale after I give you some cash!
