can anyone shed light on this. trying to pick the correct wire for the controller input signal.
the only voltages at idle I am getting is the 14V and a 2V one. when I go to varying RPMS the 2V one does not change. I thought 1 of the wires would have a varying output from 0 to 5V as air pressure increased.
The connector diagram in post 2 above is INVALID for a '10 6.4L. Too old....
The correct wire for the MAF output is the YE/VT wire with the blue wire as the signal return.
well, I sent the kit back.
after doing so....it dawned on me that I was attempting to tap the wrong signal. The above is before the turbo.....I need a pressure sensor after the turbo....looked around and dont see anything obvious. Maybe I need to install an after market air pressure sensor that can provide 0-5V as boost increases.
At this point, my next steps is to solve the "where to get the boost pressure" signal question.....if I can figure that out...and its verifiable....I'll re-order the kit.
Alternatively.....it would be even better if I can figure out how to get 0-5V as exhaust temp increases.
anyway....thanks for the input...I guess this water injection stuff is really a new frontier on this forum.
