The sister inlaw has one of these engines in a 2014 fusion, car drives nice, not underpowered, gets very good fuel economy, her drives tend to be on the longer side, so the engine is at operating temp for longer periods, she is happy, does not understand engines and has regular services done. I see a lot of hate towards smaller turbocharged engines with out a lot of thought as to why the industry is going in that direction, coming cafe regulations are pushing all manufactures to do everything to meet regulations, Ford is in front of this tech.
