Warm Start Misfiring??
2012 F150 FX4 EcoBoost, ~108k miles. Brand new SP-534's gapped to 0.030", new air filter, weep hole in CAC...
This has happened to me twice in two days, once before the new plugs and again just now, about 100 miles after the new plugs... Only had it for two days, so I'm not off to a great start here Anyhow, both times mine was actually already at operating temp, just restarting after a short time sitting in my driveway. It was running like several cylinders weren't firing or something, extremely rough and would not rev or smooth out with any amount of throttle feathering/input. Ended up having to shut the truck down and restart it... Both times, the restart took several seconds of cranking, but it ran normally again like nothing happened? No warning lights or codes (checked both times with my ScanGage II). I thought I caught a whiff of what smelled like fresh motor oil after it started up, too?? Any thoughts on what I'm up against?
