So, it's 2017 last post here was 2015 ... any recommendations on upgrading the lighting on my 2002 F-350? Would like to stick as close to stock as possible, wouldn't mind changing lamp/reflector assemblies, and might consider harness upgrade. What bulbs do you recommend.
I went with Trucklites LED in my F350. They provide a excellent lighting and have a perfect cutoff so as not to blind on coming traffic. Do you have Sealed beams now or the housings that take a bulb?
I went from 99-01 style Headlamps to 02+ with Sylvania Sylverstar bulbs and it made a significant improvement. You may consider a 05+ with some projector's if you're really looking for high output. Something like below.
My truck just went off to paint and I will be replacing the lights as well. I have tried the light restore kits and the bug spray for far too long and they need to go. I am just going to go down to the Ford dealer and purchase OEM lights and be done with it. Yes they cost more but I got 16 years out of the first ones so hopefully I will get long life out of the next set. I never had a problem with the brightness of the OEM lights but I am also running a stronger bulb in the lights and in the fog lights and when they are both on I have plenty of light.
