I've been advised to install a larger trans cooler on my 03 7.3. What's a good brand

Many use the Ford 6.0L 5R110W cooler in place of the stock cooler.

Definitely go with the Ford 6.0 cooler. It's very easy to install yourself as it bolts into the same location as the 7.3 cooler.

Both the Dorman and the 6.0 use factory installation location. Either one will need the fittings and the hose.
