Question to ask
Hi I just bought a 93 f 150 with the 5.0 4x4 and dual tanks a few weeks ago. My question is I just took the bed off to clean the frame and fix the spring mount that usually rust off but now my truck won't start. When I turn the key you can hear the pump but it won't crank it is some type of safety feature?

Did you knock the neutral safety switch connnector loose from the transmission?

Does the starter relay on the fender make any noise at all when you turn the key to the start position?

I don't think I knocked the neutral safety switch off I'll have to check. It's a auto if that makes a difference. I didn't hear it making any noise I'll check today.

With no sound from the stater relay check fuse "J".

Thanks for the schematic. So I went to try and start the truck again and it started Any ideas

Maybe the stalk was not all the way in "P" or "N" for the NSS.

You might be right because I did push the gear shifter farther up. Thanks for the help guys
