95 Ford Bronco
hey,
I live in Northern Ontario Canada, im a first time truck buyer, I am interested in buying a 1995 Ford Bronco 5spd with 4x4. This type of truck has proven hard to find around these parts. Any pointers on anything, does anyone know where I can get one in Northern Ontario? and any general information on this truck would help.

Good luck in your search!
Besides the usual visual, driveability and leak checks, and a compression check; look for:
- oil pan rust -
radiator plastic side seam leaks esp. during engine cool-down period/overnight
auto tranny and transfer case operation - electric push button motor/connector is a prob. area
auto hub operation (get it in sand or mud and try the 4x4 system)
rust in inner rear fender lips and bottom of tailgate (our's was rusting due to beach sand wearing the paint)
radius arm bushing deterioration
cracked exhaust manifold/y
ball joints
all above are either costly or a pia to diy

Without a doubt replace the auto hubs with warn manuals or similar! you dont want to be stuck at 14,000 feet in colorado (or canada) in a blizzard and find out you just bought a bada$$ 2wd bronco 
tow truck drivers will look ar you kinda funny.
they are great trucks keep it clean on the underside stop that rust that is ever so common on broncos. i assume that you have the manual shift transfer case also (that is good) if you dont make sure to test the push button set up. good luck and enjoy!
