I picked my truck up today after having the carb tweaked. The mechanic was out on a test drive with another customer but on his notes it says "oil leak from Fuel Pump Bypass". I've searched the interwebs but can't find anything related to this. The only leak I see is from a Power steering pressure hose.
Maybe he means your trucks mechanical fuel pump has been bypassed (disconnected) and went with an electric one and the seal where it bolts to the block is leaking???
Or if could of been disconnected from the fuel system and left in place and you could have an internal failure of it and it is now leaking oil out the normal fuel connection ports??
Normally if you do not use the mechanical fuel pump and go electric you remove the mechanical fuel pump and put a block off plate on.
