the truck is a 2012 f250 6.2 flex fuel from alberta canada.this isnt the first tranny form out there that ive heard do this .just wondering if any one else has come across this and why they do it.tranny seems fine shifts all right just a whine while accelerating
are you sure its the tranny. my 2010 f-450 has a whining noise, but upon putting it in neutral going down a hill, it still whines so I'm thinking its my semi-truck style tires.
150k on truck not sure when the last service was its at a used lot i was looking at it today. it only whines under load but its not the first truck from western canada ive heard doing this
Point it out to the dealer and see if he'll service it and give you a longer warrantee on the tranny. I haven't heard one whine. Maybe a Canadian thing. LOL
