Best headers from amazon?
Hey All,
So doing a speed restore on my 4x4 to get me through winter till i can do a conversion from my 4x4 over to my 2wd. My stock manifold is cracked and in rough shape as well as the exhaust pipe has a huge 2 inch hole after the muffler. So im replacing it all. Probably straight pipe or Duals ( or both
) My question is can anyone recommend some good headers from amazon without breaking the bank? Ive got some money on amazon so its not coming out of pocket but i have other items i need there as well. Not sure the type i want either shortys or long tube? If im right shorts are for low end power and long tubes are for higher end power. I would prefer some shortys so it gives it the get up and go power i like. I found these on amazon but they said mustang...But amazons exact fit said it will fit just fine on my truck
Anyone have any good recommendations for some headers and maybe a good exhaust setup? Perferably i would like no cats because i could care less for them lol. Just restricting noise and airflow
Although it is illegal to remove them but i may just weld the shell onto the pipe and say its still there

You've got it pretty much right. The long tubes will have more power and torque overall but the shorties will make fitting the rest of the exhaust much easier. If you want or need to do the whole exhaust I'd do the long tubes. I just had speedy daddy long tubes put on mine. They were only $189 and are 304 stainless steel. Shop said it took quite a bit of modification to get to fit right. Just think about that too. Look at my signature and that's my exhaust set up. Pipe out the rear behind the tire just like stock
