ok, me and my friend have been arguing for about a week now about a rear end. he is telling me that he pulled a ford 9in rear out of a early 1990's ford truck, which he says was a 250. i can say i never heard of a factory 9inch after 87. what is your guy's input?

The ONLY way a 9" was in a 1990 F250 was someone(not ford) put it in there
Ford ONLY used the axle in F150 and broncos. Nothing heavier
The stock rear axle for an F250 is the sterling 10.25 with an 8 bolt flange, the 9" was never built with anything more than a 5 bolt flange so I'd say your friend smoked his lunch.
