Hey everyone.

Has anyone done cab corners using Dennis carpenter's(really Taiwan's...) Metal?

Any tips?

Patch panels almost always need some love. It's always about the install. Take your time even if it takes a month. Get the cab squared up. Make sure the doors shut and gaps are good before you commit with the welder. If your cab mounts or rocker panels are not solid address that now. All that stuff goes together for a good cab.

Put a new floor in and have the doors mocked up and somewhat fitted. Gaps are decent.

I fitted the front cab corners already(they were easy)

Rear cab corners don't seem like they will be as easy. Maybe that will change once I start cutting them to fit.

Rears are tougher but nothing overly complex. Just a little tedious as you make the panel fit the cab and lower door but that's just bodywork. Your skills appear fine from the looks of those door gaps. I fit my panel to doors I later replaced. It seemingly never ends.

Sorry no photos but I have done 3 cabs a 1951 and 2 1956s all came out great! The guys are right though everything needs a little "tweaking" but for the most part easy!
