Starter Bendix wont Disengage
I've just put a motor in this truck because the other one was locked up. Now, whenever the truck starts, the bendix stays engaged. Once you shut the truck off, the bendix retracts.
Truck got a brand new starter with the motor...
I figured the ign. switch in the column was hanging so I started the truck with the solenoid on the fender and the bendix was still engaged.
too much fiction between the flywheel and bendix??
Im stumped.
