Hi neilster1,

Service records are maintained at the dealership level, so I'd recommend giving the service manager at your dealer a call. They'll be in the best position to provide a report.

One thing on the traction control - in 2WD, it only works on the rear wheels. In 4WD, it works on the front and rear wheels. However, locking the rear diff disables traction control on the rear wheels by default, since no wheel spin can occur across the axle. However, traction control on the front wheels will still function, and in almost all cases is better left on than off in terms of finding traction. Sometimes, though, you just need to spin and power your way through mud.

I agree the single best thing you can do to improve off-road traction is tires. I've heard good things about the Toyos; I ran BFG Mud Terrain KM2s which were great except they are treacherous on snow or ice (I run studded 10-ply Nokian Hakkapeliita tires during winter). I also agree these hulking trucks are surprisingly very good off-road, so long as you have the room on the trail to maneuver them. The optional selectable rear locker is so much better than the G80 offered by GM, or the utterly worthless anti-spin (open) rear diff on the RAMs.

Thanks for the update.
