EOT & ECT sensor question

Wondering if the following is normal:

Park truck outside in the driveway last evening at 5:30 PM.

Go out this morning at 6:30 AM with air temperature at 31 degrees.

KOEO ScangaugeII shows ECT 50 degrees and EOT 52 degrees.

After sitting in cool weather for 13 hours should the readings have been closer to the air temperature?

Thanks

It can take 24hrs or more for the temps to equalize close to ambient. That seems like a lot of difference but that's a lot of iorn and it holds a lot of heat. EOT/ECT will seldom match each other or ambient exactly.

Thanks Rusty!

Just wasn't sure if they should have been lower after 13 hours and wanted to make sure I didn't have some sort of sensor issue.
