brake line trouble...

Well I was removing the master cylinder (completely rusted out) and the brake lines broke off from the flared nuts. I don't wanna go through the trouble of redoing the lines, is there a way I can put on new nuts to screw into the new master?

If there is sufficient slack in the line, reflare it.

But it should be an indication to check the rest of the lines for corrosion. Having a line fail could cost you your life as well as some of those with whom you share the road.

If the MC was rusted out and brake lines were rusted at the flare nut connections, good chance the lines are rusted throughout their length, inside.

For your own safety, as well as anyone else you might encounter on the road, do yourself a favor and run new lines. Brake tubing and fittings are cheap. The brakes are the most important system on your vehicle.

Putting new fittings on clapped out lines is a ticking time bomb waiting for a bad outcome to occur.

Lines looked good, I'll double check in the morning, nuts were just seized up around the lines and when I went to loosen them it snapped the lines off. May run new lines just to be on the safe side though.

Move back far enough to find a good clean (non rusty) spot on the brake line, cut it and then connect it to a new line section going to your master cylinder.

Don't forget, at any connection the lines should be double flared.
