I have been working on the truck getting in in shape so I can start running it this winter so far a few things done , i havent finished the bedliner but its almost done as well
Thanks i buffed it all out and replaced that front tank that leaked so bad it was dangerous , then did the undercoating and fixed the A/C so it blows cold. I know its winter but if its in it I want it to work . i took the cap off and have it listed locally , I hate caps. I resealed the heater box to the firewall because the floor was getting wet when it rained it slowed down but still has a little so I will have to recheck everything again. I resprayed the rims and hubs and studs and ditched the caps .
its a 2wd long bed with a 5.8 . The truck has only 109 on it and was originally used to pull a 5th wheel camper by the original owner for trips, other than that it was parked. A guy I work with bought it to buy and sell vending machines on the side but didnt do any upkeep. I mentioned I wanted one like it cause it reminded me of the old 97 super duty wrecker I had and he said he would let her go for 1500. So I scored on it, it ha one small hole in the floor I have to patch and one cab corner behind the pass door I have to patch as well as the usual rear wheel well lips that always go but they make patch panels for all of it so after the winter I will redo all of the body. Mostly I just want to make her pretty again and do odds and end to it maybe down the road convert to 4x4 but for now it will do what I need for sure. I do custom hand enamel murals and lettering here and there so its getting the Big Red gum logo on the fenders and tailgate this spring. I have a Mini I covered in Monsters already , I usually dont mind what people think of my rides lol. I dig your truck I was reading the build thats a sweet ride!
