Installed new hpop with irp valve Installed new turbo New O rings for both New icp sensor Primed and started truck idled 30 to 45 mins Reinstalled edge 1500.1 basic tunes Now truck won't start low injector psi Called edge the sent factory stock tunes truck started idled for 30 mins drive down lane 200 yards then injector psi 250 unhooked the batteries for 2 hrs and then hooked them up installed stock program again and starts up drove half mile died Code p0603. Only code it throws please help!!
The P0603 is from unhooking the batteries, no problemo there.
If that Edge thing is a chip mounted on the PCM, remove it and try again. The connections can be bad and cause problems so it's better to simply remove it while troubleshooting.
Many code readers cannot read all the codes on these trucks since they are not fully OBDII compliant. What code reader do you have? Is the CEL on?
Also, is the ICP sensor from Ford? Pretty much need to stay with OEM for that one, aftermarket parts are sketchy.
The truck has been put back to stock since the first try over the old programmer there is no chip it plugs in the ob II port I left the batterie unhooked for 24 hrs and this morning installed the stock program again and it fired right up warmed it up for 45 mins drove it for half mile and shut off while going down the road?
Failure when fully warmed up is one of the tricks a failing IPR will play. But you have a new IPR, right?
I have heard if you cool it off it will work again. A cup of ice dumped on it, or the cold discharge from "air in a can" should cool it enough to work again. Never tried either tho.
