Mine (exact same ones as you linked) have been on the EX for over 4 years, had to retape driver's side rear this past Summer but otherwise they have been great.

I just installed those also. I am very happy with them easy to install and I like the look. I say go for it.

I had those on my previous Ex, they were great... Although the back ones would occasionally pop off.

Same ones here, but I refuse to lower my rear windows anymore out of fear of losing a rear vent after losing 3 already

How did you do this? I have had my weather techs on my Super Duty for two years with no issues.

Just rolled the window down, that's all it took.

First one was on the highway in Texas... coming home from Dallas doing like 75 with all 4 windows down. After I got home (2 hour drive) noticed passenger rear was gone.

Second one was also on my old X as well. It was a cool fall night and I was doing 25 through town and had the windows down. Heard it come off and had no idea what the sound was and didn't see anything on the road so I kept going. Noticed the next morning and went back (super small town) and it was nowhere to be seen.

Last one was on my new X. I recovered but it came off on the highway. I was going about 50 on the on ramp and putting the windows up to keep this from happening again and before they made it all the way up it flew off like it was heading to the light. No one behind me (close) so I slammed on the brakes, hit the E-brake and hopped out of the truck and ran back and grabbed it. Back to the truck, popped the brake and off I went 6.8 roaring. I never put the rear windows down now

Thankfully I have power REAR REAR windows

I would question the adhesive used, installation or maybe they just need to be re-seated once in a while. I have had to re-seat the fronts on a couple cars before, not a big deal and never lost one either.

My fronts have never glued in correctly on either rig, but th snap of them keeps them in place.

Ok...dumb question of the day. Friends of mine have these on some vehicles....but I've never used them. What's purpose? I assume to crack the windows and not get rain it? Is there more to it?

My EX sits a lot for long periods of time as it is only our tow rig and bus when needed, with these on I can leave the windows down about an inch or two to keep the interior from overheating. I am also one of those guys who prefer fresh air moving vs AC (unless it's Africa hot) so yes, these let you still have a window down (well below the vent visor) in the rain when driving.

I am with Tom on this. I like the air flow, also keeps the windshield from fogging up, stay dry during the rain and cooler inside during the summer when parked since I can leave them all cracked open.

Also I don't have my windows tinted yet (2 years or so later) and the tiny bit they cover does WAY more than you would ever think when driving down the road to keep the sun out.
