Simple when people are too stupid to follow instructions on where a noise is coming from and don't lift the hood to listen ----> worthless.

I have been told by ford to take to another dealer here we go again. Now that its cold it should chatter more often, and I will be there to inform the service rep where to listen while I start the truck since the first dealer was too slow to understand the detailed instructions I told them.

I kind of agree- you're coming off as a really, really abrasive dude. I can understand your frustration with the truck, but it seems like anyone that doesn't do something your way or under your instruction is stupid- and worthless. They do have procedures that they are supposed to follow. Tone it down a little and you might actually come across someone that wants to work with you and help you fix the problem.

It's kinda funny that we spend thousands of dollars on trucks and we are suppose to be patient when I want a repair fixed. I don't know about everyone else I work my *** off to buy a nice truck and want the TSB performed. Simple as that. I guess I'm the only one with the struggle of the dealer service then. Not really these clowns can't even change oil without getting oil and grease all over my wife's new Lincoln x, this is just a beginning of a list of bad things we've had with "service" people.

I had dealer problems a bunch of years ago, I changed dealers. Most any dealer can get you the pricing you want so it comes down to service, location and a feeling that you are important to their growth.

Does ford customer service still monitor this thread? We're having the same issue and the quoted cost is unacceptable for such an expensive truck. I'm hoping someone else can help me out or we won't be buying ford again.
