66 swb
well i wanted a 65 but bought a 66 alabama truck. floor pans and cab mounts are still good. minor rust at rear of bed, tail gate good, a few small blisters here and there. minor damage on 1 fender. solid truck overall. 351w with auto, 76 front end with power disc brakes, power steering. runs good. paint is terrible. looks like it was painted with dollar store, rattle can paint. i don't like looks of padded dash. can it be removed and look like a 65? tell me if i got burned, what's it worth? thanks

no pics. just wanted a range of values to see what it's worth. i originally wanted to bag it and buy a mustang for modern engine/drivetrain but with the mods it already has, i'm undecided. it's almost too nice to chop up. i wanted to put the truck body on modern frame. anybody done that? what new vehicle works best? i want a 5.0 boss or bigger.

I also have a '66 swb. Mine's a styleside. Hard to find and worth saving I think.
I peeled the dash pad off mine and found pretty nice paint under it. The nicest paint on the truck actually. I used goo-gone to remove the glue. Goof-Off will remove the paint.
