the hardest part is realigning the tranny. Make sure you don't have one in it first though

I'd about bet my pay check that it's hour fly wheel. My dad's 96 did the same thing. Turned out the springs in the dual mass fly wheel was busted and broke. $1100 later and some sore muscles we got it do e. He replaced the clutch and pressure plate while we was in there.
