I just checked my photos... I know I saved them at 800 x 384, but for some reason they went to 576 x 384.... I will try to re-size them again, thanks for the quick reply.

Hi folks - for the life of me I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have images on a flash drive in 800x384 format, and the Sync system sees the images when I go to "add" an image as a wallpaper, but the system gives me an error message that they are not in the proper format. I know the install procedure, but the system does not seem to like the format. I exported my images from iPhoto as jpeg and png formats, but none of them will load. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I wasn't able to load from a thumb drive, so I used a SD Memory card instead, loaded just fine. Not sure why the flash drive wouldn't work.

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I need some help from you tech savvy folks. I've tried twice to load Wallpaper images via a Thumb Drive. Have properly formatted the TD according to the owners manual etc. No Go. I have to upload the images via a SDHC card, which is not a problem, the end result is the Wallpaper Images I want get loaded, but I'm frustrated as to why it won't work with a TD. I use the ports located in the cubby hole below the radio/climate controls with sliding lid.

Can't help you with the TD issue...but thanks for resurrecting this thread so I can subscribe. Great pics here. Hopefully Ford will enable this feature on Sync3 soon.

Any idea when Ford may do this update for sync3? I would love to do this on my 2016.

Nope. Ford hasn't release any update yet for 3. I've got a build date of early March last year and it's still the current version. I didn't believe the online tool, so I took the time last weekend to connect the truck's wireless to my home wifi and run an auto-update cycle. Nothing

Not sure when Ford is planning an update. Seems like annually is a good cycle, so hopefully it will be soon. But who knows what new features it will include, so it's perfectly feasible an update won't include the ability to add backgrounds pics.

Sync3 doesn't support pics yet (at all). Some Sync2 folks are having issues using USBs and are resorting to SD cards instead.
