Flowmaster mufflers

Does anyone know where I can get flowmaster 40 series original flows in 3". I have tried summit but they do not carry them, and I was told they are not made anymore. Is this true? I am going to run 3" flowmasters with turndowns before the rear axle will this be loud??? (I like it loud)

Anyone wanna trade 2 3" flowmaster 2-chambers for 2 3" hooker aero chambers?

Jegs has them on their website, doesn't say if they're Delta Flows or not. And yes, exhaust turn-downs under your truck will be loud!

ranger,if you can't get the 3" just go with 2.5" i don't think it will hurt anything, i think you should have those suckers on by now.
whenever i drive arround town all chevy and doge drivers feel threatend by my 40's and we almost always race it out.

The Aerochambers are a pretty subtle sounding muffler... nice tone but just not that loud.

They don't make the 40 series original in a 3" si/so anymore... just the deltaflows. I doubt you'll notice a difference in performance going with 2.5" si/so mufflers tho because you are just going to dump it anyway.

I would do that but I already have the three inch pipes bent whoever did exhaust did not weld it just clamped, so i can just take the mufflers off and install the flows.
Does the delta flow and original flow mufflers loudness differ that much???
The aerochambers are nice mufflers but I just want something louder.
Thanks,
Joel

Ranger - why don't you just use a 3" to 2.50" reducer. This way you can use your exhisting pipes and the new Flowmaster?

The 3" 40 series originals arebstill listed on flowmasters website. Are you sure they dont make them anymore, because if they dont, I'm going to have to search ebay for them because they are what I want.
