clearance lights

I'm considering installing clearance lights on my 97 F250. I did a search on the site but didn't find much. Just an article on installing them on a 99.
Anyone done the job? Interested in a good kit to buy, price point and anything else on the subject. Template??? I hope??? I want to cut once but will still measure 100 times...

Well done! That's a big help! It doesn't seem like anyone makes a good reproduction light kit from what I can gather. Factory stuff would be a real find.
