What's up guys. I was working on the truck today and I noticed the driver side door doesn't have a lock on it, due to the way Ford made them because of traffic and all. I was wondering, how does one lock the driver side door? I know I can buy a lock for it but I want to keep the stock look. If anything I would tie the door to the steering wheel when I take it out
It was originally intended that you lock the drivers door from the inside and slide across the seat and exit the passenger side, locking the passenger door from the outside. Mine has so many levers in the floor that I will have to have my wife lock the door after I get out or walk around and reach thru from the passenger side and lock the drivers side before I lock the passenger door.

Thanks for replying man. How do you lock the driver's door groom the inside? I was looking for anything that can lock it but no sign of anything.
What's up guys, I was wondering about the heater core on the '54 f100. Which angle does the '54 have on the heater core? I know there is same angles, one is angled more than the other and there is the opposite angled. Would there be a problem if I get a different angled heater core ? Thanks.
Update: I just received my new recirculating heater I bought on eBay. I hope the angles on the core won't make it difficult to install. Also, I have taken off the skirt that the bench seat had. I am now working on wiring the tail lights using a brake light switch from NAPA.
Okay cool thanks, some dude was trying to convince me that a '56 was had the same cowl vent handle as a 53-55 but I was positive it didn't just had to make sure.
Update: I got a new carburetor for the 1970 mustang 351w engine, lights have been wired up but turn signals don't work, took out the bed and put plywood to cover it, tool out the carpet they put in, and other little things. But now I have her sitting since my radiator is leaking really bad and I hear knocking in the engine. I have no money right now so she will be sitting for a good amount of time.
What's up guys sorry for not posting anything goes lately I've been busy with school. So here's what's up with the truck now. I have bought a new aluminum 2 row radiator, it didn't fit because it has been hacked up so I had to figure out a way to put it on. My truck overheated once so either the radiator isn't big enough to cool the engine or the engine is bad. Rod knock got a lot louder so she sits in the garage a lot more now. I also got a great dWall on a previous purchase for my truck. I was just browsing Craigslist one day and came upon a tire carrier with the bracket and fender. It was a steal for what the guy was selling it. I bought it and it is now sitting on the bed of my truck, in the garage. I will get the engine done maybe sometime next year because I have bills to pay and class that I have to go to. I'll post the picture of what I bought last week. Thanks guys have a goodnight.
