Nevada November BS Thread
As far as the color BLACK (inside) Happy Friday the 13th everyone.
Sunday blessings to you!
How is everyone? Anything new & exciting?
I'm doing good. I've been cleaning, working out, doing my online auction (Listia) stuff, went to the Nevada Day Parade thank you dinner, & yesterday we picked up the minivan. YEAH! $871.00 later...it's finally done! $400 for my half of the transmission & $471 for other repairs. Now it has passing gear, a new thermastat & fuel filter, instrument panel(temp & gas gauge work now) & 3 different computerized parts that make it run right. Now, the only thing left is for the repair shop to fix my broken running board from putting it on the wrong type of car lift. Atleast the chunk that's missing isn't that noticeable, because it's close to the bottom.
This is the 1st time since 2007 that this auto shop has ever messed up with any business from me. First they lost the van keys(thank God I had a spare) & then the running board. They did find the keys 3 days later. They had fallen into a hole in the counter for the computer cords & landed behind the monitor. Poor guy was going crazy trying to find them!
Have a great day!

Donna, glad to hear you got the mini van back. I am sure you missed it.

We are just now getting some of that weather Jim & Craig.
We cruised out to Pahrump to day, poked around a bit, then had lunch at MOM's cafe and came in time to watch my Bronco's take a whopping
Decided to take the wife to work tomorrow. Suppose to be more weather in Round Mtn. than here. Now that I get much better performance & gas mileage the F150 4x4 it is playing a bigger roll in my daily driving. With it getting 17 mpg that is not much less than the wife's Crown Vic. She gets 19.5 to 21 mph. So I don't mind letting it sit every so often.
Happy Monday! Any plans for the day?
Other than house cleaning, I plan on weight lifting/working out again today. I also have to go the the Post Office. So, not much hapoening here. Lol!
Have a good day & keep warm.
Have plans to take the silver bullet in to see what is causing the check engine light to come on, and then later today, will be picking up a friend's laptop to see why it will not connect to the internet.

I had a great time in Phoenix at the club meet. There were over 60 trucks and broncos there. Plus a 60-61 F100 on a lightning chassis that has some amazing fab work that showed up. Then there was also something called a B100 that was from Mexico. There were two different B100s there. They were really cool.
The members of this club were all extremely friendly and loved all the trucks no matter the shape. The meetup was very family friendly, and even had carnival type games for the kids.
Jeff met us at the meet and hung out for a while. It was great to finally meet him in person. I forgot to get a pic with him.
Here are a few pics from the show.
