I'm assuming that's what they are. It resembles a bottle opener. Anyway when I disassembled my '69 F250 front suspension parts to be powdercoated, one side was missing the piece. Was this a mistake by the factory or a usual thing ? I'm assuming these have something to do with height. The truck seemed to be somewhat level except the previous owner had different size tires on the front.
It shows this to be on '65-'69 F100-F250s but, these were not on my '69 F100. My truck also did not have the 3A016 I-beam downward travel limiting arms (don't know the official name for them).
YES it is part #5355. I would think one missing would throw the height off and the alignment. Anyway I found someone that had some so both sides will have one when I put it back together.

The stock springs are side specific on your Bumpside, due to the roughly 2" offset, to the right of the trucks center line, of the engine/transmission. The right side spring will be shorter but have a larger wire diameter than the right side coil spring.
If you have the old springs out, now is a good time to replace them. Brand new Moog CC808 progressive rate coils are inexpensive, are brand new and will ride better than the old coils.
