04 f150 remote start question
Hi guys I'm new here so my problem is my girlfriend just bought me a remote starter for my truck but I only have one key is there any possible way to use the starter with that key and just a cut key like use chip key in remote starter and use unprogrammed key after its started or a bypass any info will be helpful thanx guys

You should be able to clone your existing key and use it without the remote. You will not retain the full functionality of PATS with a cloned key, but you can at least drive the truck. See here for details:

"Redneck PATS Bypass" time.
1. Get mechanical duplicates of working key
2. Remove transponder ring from around the ignition key cylinder, mount PATS key in it securely, stuff it up under the dash.
3. Hope you never need the PATS system reprogrammed (PCM or cluster replacement, for example).

You can do as suggested above or just go see a locksmith. They can program in additional keys for a lot less than the dealer. If you get 2 more you can use one for the RS and still have 2 for yourself.
