Anyone have a Superduty with either the Camper package or HD spring package and if so does that alleviate the rear of the truck drooping when hooked up to a fifth wheel. Wondering if the addtional springs would alleviate the need for rear air bags.

I only wish that these packages did - I have the camper/H-D suspension and springs and both the previous and current 5ers dropped the chassis to the overloads. Both of these trailers have about a 22-2500 pound pin weight. Air bags at 20-30 psig work really nicely - either my Ride Rites or the Air Lifts are well worth the few bucks as even 10 psig unloaded helps the ride on mine plus puts the truck at an even level
My fifth wheel has a pin weight of 1900 (actual, I CAT scaled it). So I wonder now if it's worth getting a F250 with either of these spring upgrades as it appears they do nothing to keep the rear end off the ground. By the way, we used to live near Binghamton until we moved to SC last year.

Ahhh Binghamton, the South end of the dreaded rough I-88.
If you are going for new, that 5th wheel prep package is well worth the 4-500 bucks as includes springs with overloads, 7 pin hook up and the electronic brake package if you are buying less then a Lariat. An added plus is if you have a B&W hitch, you can replace just the base for about $300 and go from an 18 to a 20,000 pound rating for the next and always bigger 5er

FYI: The springs and brake controller are not part of the 5th wheel prep package. They are included as part of payload and towing options. This is from the dealer order guide:

I agree it is a great value for buck. It's working well for me.
Very familar with I-88 as I worked in Albany for 5 years before retiring and drove that that cow path every day, 210 mile round trip. Could drive it in my sleep except the road is so terrible, I doubt even someone with Narcolepsy addicted to Ambien could fall asleep driving it.

Moved from near Binghamton to TN. Do not miss the taxes.
Your responce was the non commital one expected. Air Lift does not "stand in the gap" just as other aftermarket manufacturers wont. Go to court and hope your $10,000 lawyer will defeat the team of lawyers to recoup the repair expence. Just want potential buyers of your product to also rely on "caveat emptor" let the buyer be aware.

Not quite sure what you're trying to prove here. There's millions of miles on both AirLift and Firestone bags. Can't say I've ever seen a thread anywhere that bags damaged the truck. If you're that worried about them damaging your truck, live with the crappy ride and don't install them. I will continue to not overthink it and enjoy the much improved loaded ride that the airlift bags provide on my truck (along with thousands of others).

Sorry to offend you as I know that is taboo nowadays. however the final point I made is beware of aftermarketeers who always cite the warranty protection law as a practical way of leaving their customers on the hook. Casting caution to the wind is not appropriate. Hope you find that safe space.
I'm the new guy and I put in Bilstien 5100 shocks and Reese 16 ton 5th wheel hitch and Ride Rite air suspension. Not towing 13 psi. towing 35 psi.
Our only trip was from the dealer in Burlington, Vermont ( by Lake Champlain) down to the quiet corner of Connecticut. (North eastern corner) and found that in Vermont bridges were bad and you felt them. Good amount of bounce. Then came Massachusetts, Some of those bridges were wrenching. Last Connecticut and no real issue what so ever. Just smooth run.
Just an observation. For whatever reason MA is really bad road at bridges. Hope I gave you some help again I'm new at this and our first drive.

Try playing with the pressure a bit, should take the harshness right out of it.
