Spring code: WWCC, what exactly do I have in the front???
06 F350 V10 4x4 SRW REG cab and Spring code WWCC.
Any help on what W code front springs are would be greatly appreciated as I've spent countless hours searching the Internet and found almost nothing.
I have only found one post on a random forum that suggested W's were a step up from the snowplow package and rated at 5600lbs and generally only used on F450s......is this correct as I am getting very tired of the incredibly stiff front end.
No sense repeating what I posted earlier, and I'm not gonna combine this with the other thread because he obviously wasn't satisfied with the response.
Yes, they put 5,600 lb springs on F350s, and it's not uncommon If you run your VIN through the site I linked in the other thread I bet you'd see either the heavy service suspension package or the snow plow package.
Weigh the truck and make an informed decision from there. I'd mount 4,800 lb or 5,200 lb springs.

See page 5 for factory payload and spring information.
Thanks again, some more good info even if it's mostly for cab chassis trucks, it's still relevant.
I kind of jumped the gun and impulsively started a new thread without waiting for answers on my old one..... Won't do that again as patients always pays off in the end.
Did you see what Tom wrote in your other thread? X codes rated a 6k would be snow plow prep springs.
Yep I saw what he posted after yet another 13/14 hour work day for the last month...... And I did start a completely pointless thread..... But I did finish harvest tonight just in time for it to start raining again so it isn't going completely bad on my end.
Good deal. Been working 6-7 days a week for the last couple months non stop, the end is near though.
Good deal and wish I could say the same.... But now harvest that is done I have 600 acres of corn stocks to disc and 200 acres of that need to be ripped as well then you have the 600+ acres that are going to be corn next year to apply NH3.....
I should be sleeping instead of surfing FTE but this place is like crack for information.
