Cargo door options

Does Ford offer the option of swing out doors instead of the sliding doors. Early in my career I had a sliding door on my service van. Oh how much trouble that thing was. Also if they do. Can you get the doors on the driver's side and passengers. I currently have this set up on my Chev 3500 and it works out great. Thank you in advance.

You can get the barn doors, but they don't have it on both sides at this point. They tell us they will have two doors by the end of this year, though I suspect they will be sliders. They are waiting to improve the safety of the dual doors before production. If you look at the Transit sliding doors they are pretty well protected from many of the traditional problems. The only think I notice is I have to put a slight twist on my wrist when closing with one hand to get them to shut at the rear.
