Fuel pump issues

I have a 94 f150 5.0 bought the truck not running so far the fuel pump was bad and not getting power to the pump unless I ground the #6 pin on the test plug . Trying to figure out why u don't have power at the inertia switch unless u ground the 6 pin

It wasn't bad had no power at the switch then grounded the #6 pin and had power to the switch and on to the pump I guess my question is if you have to ground the 6 pin to get power to the switch, what causes that? I replaced the relay and still had the same problem
