Can someone tell me if this is the real deal? A shop here told me with installation it was like 350 bux, now this one here is for 40 bux???

It would be interesting to know what kind of issue the factory had with the grilles to make them "seconds". Could be a simple blemish in the paint/finish, or they could be mangled.
For $40, I'd take the risk. But, if you want to pay $350 to have a known "good" one installed, then I suppose it's worth the money.

You have 2 different kinds one goes on over the grill, this one you can do yourself in 20 min and it looks good. The other you need to cut out the grill. This takes a special tool called a hack saw and some sand paper and might take you an hour. It also goes on easy and will look a little better from up close. Either way the instal is pretty much a no brainer but when someone hears cutting on their new truck the freak so the price can go up.
