88 ranger 2.0
first of all hello everyone
i just picked up a 88 ranger 2.0L carb. for $180. it runs but the engine wont stay idled. theres a hole on top and at the end of the exhaust manifold with threads inside it so i know something goes there. also on the egr valve theres a metal tube that comes out about two inches and is broke off.i bought a haynes manual but it does not get into details. however it does show on a 2.3L efi a tube going from the manifold to the egr valve. is this the same for the carb 2.0L. thanx for any help!!!!!
