I pulled a plug on my truck and it has a real long electrode. It is an Autolite #5125. My owners manual says Motocraft BSF-44C. I can not cross this Autolite to the Motorcraft, can anyone out there give me an idea what this Autolite plug is and if it is recommended for use in an 88 4.9 engine? There are many conversion charts on line and none of them cover this Autolite plug. Any help would be appreciated.
yes, for a 88 4.9L, autolite 5125 plugs are correct. that's according to the computer at Kragen. some people might say you should try 45 plugs, but i think those are for trucks with the duraspark system vs. the EECIV system.
