95 e350 ignition coil location ?

Got a free e350 box truck today, it cranks but wouldn't turn over, I was told by a mechanic to check to ignition coil. My question is, where is the ignitiom coil located? I see the cap and rotor but don't see the coil.

Pull a plug wire and check for spark and then work backward to the coil wire and then the coil

What engine? On the 5.8 it's probably atop the port side valve cover. In any case, follow the center cable from the distributor cap. Or do some Fords have a GM sytle distributor with built-in coil?
